Today I will tell you about Maasai culture. Maasai’s culture is based on a lions 🦁 culture. For example, Maasai suffocate their goats for food so do lions , Maasai also drink blood, like lions. The Maasai migrate to water like lions , and follow the same pattern. When they hunt they stalk their prey, so do lions. Maasai don't need to drink as much water because of special medicines they take.That is why Maasai are like lions.
Maasai are known for jumping high to impress the women in the tribe. They use it in ceremonial dances. There are ceremonies every time a boy turns 13. The ceremonies last for 3 days, then the boy will prove he is a man by leaving the camp and living on his own for 6 months. The boys paint white masks on their face while they are gone. If they walk into any house then the people in the house have to give them food. Sometimes they will form a group of boys and stand on the side of the road so if someone wants a picture with them they have to pay shillings to get one. Then the boys get money, because they know that the "muzungo" will be interested.
